If you are deploying Roaming User Profiles to user accounts, instead use the procedure described in Step 5: Optionally set up Roaming User Profiles on user accounts. If you set up Roaming User Profiles on computers by using Group Policy and on user accounts by using Active Directory, the computer-based policy setting takes precedence.

Just in looking around I’m seeing this has to be a permissions error. I would assume that the permissions on the server would be correct from a new GPO created using the dashboard after removing the old one by hand. It is working on ONE machine. Then agian none of the systems are even making a user folder in “Folder Redirection” except the one in the conference room.

Ad profile paths are empty including the one that is working. Go back to your first thought lol you seemed like you were getting somewhere lol! My Second Theory, is it policy is applied, but can go anywhere because the user profile ant set, Had this issue before when i was learnnig about DFS, Permssions and Folder Redir. That’s very odd that the ONE working client has nothing in there along with every other user.

So I should point that to a folder named their user name in the Folder Redirection folder even though those folders are supposed to have special permissions attached to them so only they can access them? Still a bit odd I just brought another older system online and folder redirection is working on any account I put on that machine similar to the one that was working.
